Webb Grad Is Glosten President
Webb Institute is pleased to announce that John L.R. “Jay” Edgar III ’87 has been named president at The Glosten Associates (Seattle, WA) as of January 1st. Jay is the fourth president since the company’s founding in 1958 by Lawrence R. Glosten ’40. Jay joined the company in 1988; he’s been a source of creative design solutions and has been responsible for the delivery of many of the firm’s most complex projects. Over the last few years as Director of Engineering, and most recently as Vice President, Jay has focused on reinforcing the firm’s engineering structure and processes. Jay succeeds William Hurley, Jr., who, having served as President since 2001, will now serve as Chairman of the Board.
