For those who would like to set up an "installment plan," the Development Office can set up periodic (e.g., monthly or quarterly) automatic recurring charges to a Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. Contribute with Publicly Traded Stocks and Securities
Supporters of Webb Institute may prefer to make their donation through gifts of appreciated stock, bonds, real estate or mutual funds. Not only will donors help advance the mission of Webb Institute, they will:
- receive a charitable income tax deduction in the amount equal to the current market value of the appreciated property
- minimize or possibly eliminate liability for payment of capital gains tax
- feel satisfied about making a difference in the lives of Webb students
Should you wish to make a gift of publicly traded stocks or securities, please direct your broker to transfer the securities to Webb Institute’s account with Merrill Lynch. Kindly contact the Development Office to let Webb know your intentions so we are certain to record the gift appropriately.
