Professor Emeritus Jacques B. Hadler

On November 7th, Professor Emeritus Jacques B. Hadler honored Webb Institute with a lecture on the history and design of catamarans. Students were introduced to Professor Hadler’s experiences with catamaran development, and they also learned about innovations in catamaran design, such as SWATHs. Professor Hadler also presented the results of his research on catamarans and the effect of hull form on resistance. The lecture was both informative and interesting. We certainly hope to hear from Professor Hadler again in the near future.
