Webb Basketball - Fall 2012
The Webb Institute basketball team is ready to take on the 2012 season under the leadership of Coach Ed Primeggia and his two captains and returning starters, Kierstin Del Valle ’13 and Matthew Weklar ’15. The team is in the midst of a rebuilding year due to the loss of two senior starters and one freshman starter from the 2011 season, but that doesn’t make Webb any less of a tough competitor. Fortunately, the rookies Andrew Ko ’15, Brian Mills ’15, Kurt Gavel ’15, Michael Chen ’14 and Oleg Golubev ’15, are showing much promise and improvement as the season progresses. We also have Dylan Froriep ‘14, who joined the team at the end of the 2011 season, taking over as point guard. We are looking forward to a competitive season filled with teamwork and an increased passion for the sport of basketball.
