Bill Prince (Publisher, Classic Yacht Magazine) has been yacht designer and marine engineer who has been a consumer of boating and sailing magazines for over twenty years. He has watched the media landscape change quickly in the internet age and have decided to re-invent the yachting magazine for the 21st century and hopes you'll take a moment to subscribe and turn the digital pages of Classic Yacht. No personal information other than an e-mail address is required to subscribe.

Classic Yacht magazine has married the look and editorial substance of a world-class magazine layout with all the advantages the internet provides. The digital pages of Classic Yacht magazine curl like paper on your computer screen or high-definition television. The magazine is published "for those who love great boats" and features stories about the people and places around the world that make these boats so enjoyable.

The current issue includes the story of Olympus, a 97' fantail yacht built in 1929. Also featured is the cutter Thetis, designed by G.L. Watson in 1896 but built 100 years later. The Imperia Classic Yacht Meet on the Italian Riviera, attended by several boats and crews from sister city Newport, RI, is previewed. A tribute to the late Hinckley CEO, Gerry DiSchino appears on page 19.
