Webb Institute vs. Albany College of Pharmacy – September 25, 2010
Webb Institute squared off against Albany College of Pharmacy on the Saturday of Family Weekend. Unfortunately, Webb was unable to secure the victory in front of the large home crowd losing to Albany 7-1. Despite the lopsided score, Webb played an excellent defensive game with outstanding performances from Dan Dwyer ’13 and captains Josh Lambertsen ’11 and Dale Pederson ‘12. Coach Schools stated that this was probably the greatest showing by the defense in his time at Webb. The offside trap worked to perfection, but unfortunately the midfield and offense were unable to possess the ball for long enough, leaving the defense pressured by Albany’s style. Schuyler Needham ’12 continued his scoring streak with his third consecutive game with a goal.
