Webb Named "Best Value" By Princeton Review
WEBB INSTITUTE MAKES THE 2010 LIST OF 50 "BEST VALUE" PRIVATE COLLEGES PRESENTED BY THE PRINCETON REVIEW AND USA TODAY
Webb is one of the nation's 50 "Best Value" private colleges and universities according to The Princeton Review, one of America's most widely known education services and test preparation companies. The Princeton Review teamed with USA TODAY, the nation's most widely read print newspaper, to present its list, "The Princeton Review Best Value Colleges for 2010."
The list - which features 100 schools in all, 50 public and 50 private colleges and universities - was posted on January 12 on the websites of The Princeton Review and USA TODAY. Of the 50 schools chosen in each category (public and private), the top 10 are ranked one to 10 and the remaining 40 are listed in alphabetical order and unranked.
In its profile of Webb on the USA TODAY website, the editors at The Princeton Review commend the school for its "ability to offer all admitted students a four-year, full-tuition scholarship."
The Princeton Review selected its "Best Value" choices for 2010 based on surveys of administrators and students at more than 650 public and private colleges and universities. The selection criteria covered more than 30 factors in three areas: academics, costs of attendance, and financial aid, using the most recently reported data from each institution for its 2008-09 academic year.
